Not that any single guy is going to be reading my blog but if for some strange reason they do, I would advise you to join a scuba club. I don't feel that many words need be said, the picture should suffice.

Now, mom. I was a perfect gentleman the whole time! I behaves very well... for the most part. in all cerealness, it was a ton of fun and as soon as I get the pictures developed from my underwater camera I will be sure to put them up. Oh, and the last picture, I dropped my camera, sad day it was, no more pictures for a while.

"Cuz i'm free... free falliing"

Leilani tried to kill this dog. she kicked it across the entire porch. what a punk. he was such a cute little guy.
this was the long walk out to the plane. I knew one thing for sure. there was no need for them to have a good plane, if it broke down all that we had to do was jump out.
just some pics from when we were coming down... after the chute was pulled
IDK who that was but you kinda get the point

there were eight of when we started. I think you can guess what happend to the rest. JK it was totally safe
This contract was very entertaining. the last part was all about how you have to be extra close and friendly to the tandem master. by friendly i mean get kinda close and comfortable with him and the harness.

we played with the spider while we waited to jump

so the video cuts off right before I jump out but you just have to believe that I did ok!

Just the Latest stuff

So theres a music viedo from jason mraz that has this waterfall in it wo we thought it would be fun to go. It was fun but probably the most anticlimatic waterfall I have ever seen. :) I have high standards when it comes to waterfalls. :)

Maybe no one told these people but if your cat gets lost in a jungle, your probably better off just getting a new one. On second thought, get a dog.
My feet got a little dirty.
Amber is pretty cool. We are going to do some scuba diving in a few weeks. I am pretty dang excited. ya.
No comment. . . waterfall.
I think we need to have the others work on there form, I think mine is pretty cool. what do you think?
So, I got to have dinner with Pres. Wheelright and his wife because a friend of mine, Kendall, works as his secretary and she invited me to go. It was a very enjoyable night and I really liked getting to know Pres and his wife better along with the other people there. It was pretty dang fun. You can tell how relaxed I was by the looseness of my tie.

Hiking

I Guess all I can say is that I know it's going to be a good day when he first sign I read is this one.

Well, the hike was about 10 miles long so I got a bit of a blister. It did not feel so good at the time but now I think its ok. I hav discovered that getting sand out of a blister can be somewhat of a painful task. But I mean really, who cares right, the hike was fun.
Aparently, on 50 first dates the name of the cafe were Adam meets Drew is called the Hukilau Cafe. They got that name from this place but I guess this one was not pretty enough so they used the one on the movie instead. Whatever VIVE LAIE!

Hawaii, Just the begining

Well, the last few days have been great! Needless to say I suppose, because I am in Hawaii after all right. My flight over was pretty uneventful, a stop in Kona then right on over to the Honolulu Airport. I guess you could say that was the beginning of my new adventure because until that point everything was pretty much smooth sailing… flying. I had planned on taking the Coconut Express (the Shuttle system the school uses to get student from the airport to the school) but it was not running because it was New Year’s Day. I had paid for it about three weeks ago, you know trying to be responsible and all but my efforts seemed to be fruitless because it didn’t run New Year’s Day and what the heck why not Friday either. Hey, they just took the next four days off, not like any students were going to come anyways seeing how school started in two days right? Either way, it worked out great because I had a friend of a friend come get me. You know the brothers-sisters-aunts- roommate type of thing. Either way, he was such a cool guy. He took me on a tour of all the big things in Honolulu; my personal favorite being Waikiki beach. Yup, it was awesome.
Dinner was really fun, completely not sanitary or healthy for that matter but That’s why I loved it so much! We went to a Korean food place and ate a buffet style dinner with a little bit of a twist; you had to cook your own food. It was a bit of a rip off, expensive food that I had to cool myself, get real. No, totally just joking, it was great! Sorry, the videos kinds lame. :(

I stayed the night @ his place and man did I ever sleep great! I don’t know what it was, probably a combination of jet lag, sleep deprivation and defiantly a little bit of island love that helped me through the night. Cousin Tommy as we have now become has the biggest T.V. possible in his flat. It was pretty much a bachelor pad for a 42-year-old islander. Ha-ha Something about the islanders, they are the most laid back group of people I have ever met (worse than Chileans, I didn’t think it possible) and man I have got to say that I love how they, specifically, Cousin Tommy treat you like family the second they get to know you. I think I am going to make it here, getting over the completely relaxed wing-it kind of attitude of course. :)

The trip to school was good; we picked up Lelani and stopped at none other than McDonalds for a burger. Getting to the school went smooth and my room looks like a jail cell but I don’t care to much cuz after all, who stays in the room during college.

Saturday morning was also very fun. We went to the City of temples (I think that’s what it was called) and walked around there for a while. From there we tried to make it to some lookout point but the buss broke down. The brakes stopped working, and I sure am glad they fixed them because the hill going into the swap meet was pretty steep. Go figure I didn’t like the swap meet, sHopPInG …Eh, But from there we went to the Perl Harbor memorial. That was great! I have always wanted to go there. It made me think of my grandpa’s as even bigger heroes in my life than I did before!

We then went on a little stroll around the Island just for cuz. Go figure, there were two vegan girls that were needless to say very into their ideas, and everything turned to the conversation of how eating anything that may be related to an animal was bad. Ya, It had to be with them when we would see a dead bird stuck between two fence post. I couldn’t help but laugh, it was great. Words cannot do justice to how funny I thought it was!
